There’s a famous saying that the city in which you have been brought up does affect you in ways even you don’t know.
The same theory can be a witness over the life story of Dr Dhaval Patel. Born in the city of renowned Gujarati poet Narsinh Mehta aka Narsaiya & infamous Businesstycoon Dhirubhai Ambani, Dr Patel possesses that compassion they both had.
Thirteen years of experience in dentistry, five years of experience in digital dentistry, three years of experience in surgical guide designing and printing, seven years of experience in implant surgery and prosthetics, eight years of experience in orthodontics, Dr Dhaval Patel certainly has a knack for perfection and longevity in his field.
Born in an average middle-class Gujarati family, Dr Patel’s father was a primary school teacher. Fascinated by maths and science from the very early age, Dr Patel completed his education from Adarsh primary and Bhagvatsinhji High school, Dhoraji. He passed his matriculation exams with flying colours and got himself enrolled in science stream for his higher-secondary studies. Since, it is relatively common and usually happens with almost everyone that he/she distracts at some point in life, Dr Dhaval has also gone through the same phase during his research. He got distracted by movies and other activities because of frustration during his higher secondary education. In between all such adventures, he passed with first-class all because of his interest in maths and other subjects.

Soon after passing out from the college, Dr Patel was in great confusion about his future as a professional dentist. He was hanging between the choice of doing Masters and having his clinic. A friend from Surat came to the rescue and advised him to come to his city Surat to work with some known dentists in the meantime until he figures out one or the other way for the future. Convinced by the advice, he started working with Dr Siddharth Jariwala at his clinic and Rajasthan Parishad hospital simultaneously. Soon after, he realized that for real progress, one must have his/her own business. Hence in the year of 2007, Dr Patel started his private clinic in Adajan, Surat.
The real test started, and Dr Patel began working at Prannath Hospital. Working at his clinic and Prannath Hospital, he learnt valuable lessons that he applied later in his career. The Year of 2009 proved to be a lucky year for him as he got married and started a new clinic in Sayan, Surat. The subsequent year, he purchased a clinic in Baroda Pristage and turned it into a successful one.
At one point, he decided to renovate his clinic with ultramodern facilities, but at the same time, he also was skeptical that this might affect his practice, but on the contrary, people loved it, and his practice sky-rocketed in the following years. In 2018, he installed his 3rd X-ray machine called CBCT. It was the first of its kind of high-tech machine in Gujarat during that time; thus, he became the first Dentist to own the In-house CBCT.
Being in the field of dentistry for so many years, Dr Patel has attended many complicated cases. From instances of severe crown fractures to abnormal dental injuries and treatment of acute dental pain, he always delivered relief to his patients, along with bringing back their smiles.
Dr Dhaval firmly believes in giving back to society. Being an expert designer of 3D and dentistry equipment himself, he wishes to develop all kind of large scale machinery in a way that every Dentist in the country can afford high tech machinery for the betterment of their patients. It is his dream, and something which he wants to fulfill in the near future and a true partnership could definitely pave the way.
